Venable partner David Bonelli, along with Katherine Dixon, Christine Weydig, and moderator Ray Minjares, spoke on a Climate Week NYC panel, “Unlocking Grid Capacity for Electrified Road Transport.” The International Council on Clean Transportation has recently published its “Principles on Commercial Fleet Electrification and the Distribution Grid” to help policymakers and industry navigate this shift. Drawing on these principles, the session brought together senior leaders from fleets, utilities, technology providers, and policy to explore how smarter grid planning, demand flexibility, digitalization, and stronger cross-sector collaboration can unlock the next phase of electrification.
