Disgorgement [Supremely] Denied: Supreme Court Unanimously Curtails the FTC's Authority in AMG Capital Management v. FTC

The United States Supreme Court issued a unanimous opinion in AMG Capital Management v. Federal Trade Commission, holding that Congress, by enacting Section 13(b) of the Federal Trade Commission Act, did not grant the Commission authority to obtain equitable monetary relief when it proceeds in federal district courts under that section.
