Patrick W. Lincoln

Patrick Lincoln handles a broad range of client matters, from acquisition, disposition, and financing of various types of commercial property to real estate development and the creation of structures for real estate acquisitions, investments, financing, and joint ventures.  Patrick provides his clients with proactive advice regarding potential issues and opportunities, and balances risks and benefits to deliver practical guidance to advance each client's strategic objectives.

Patrick’s ability to advise his clients on real estate matters is augmented by his foundation in corporate law.  His experience with corporate matters, including joint ventures and equity investments, helps him provide clients with strategic advice on the overall structuring of real estate transactions and all aspects of corporate real estate services.

Significant Matters

Patrick’s experience includes coast-to-coast work for a major U.S. investment management firm, including negotiating a preconstruction purchase agreement, a tri-party senior housing joint venture, and office and industrial leasing.  He has also been involved in complex joint ventures relating to urban development and has represented a major housing fund in the creation and restructuring of single-family home development projects.  In the corporate real estate services arena, Patrick's experience includes the representation of a publicly traded company in all aspects of its headquarters relocation as well as handling all real estate elements of complex, real estate intensive, M&A transactions.

Activities

Patrick has supported education in his community as a board member of Linking Communities for Educational Success, Inc., a nonprofit serving youth in Washington, DC, and on the advisory committee of a preschool in Virginia.
