Venable represented the Shareholders of Dominion Electric Supply Company, Inc. and Dominion Electric Supply Company of Washington, LLC, which are long-time firm clients, in the sale of the companies to Border States Industries, Inc. Dominion Electric was established in 1940 and has grown to more than 300 employees and nine branches in Virginia and Maryland. Border States is a 100% employee-owned company and is rated the sixth-largest electrical distributor in the United States. Border States has more than 3,200 employee-owners and 120 branches in 29 states, and this acquisition by Border States will mark a geographic expansion for Border States on the East Coast.
