Christopher Serrano

Chris Serrano's practice encompasses all aspects of real estate law. With a focus on commercial properties, Chris counsels clients through a variety of transactions, including the acquisition, disposition, financing, refinancing, and leasing of assets. He has represented borrowers, investors, lenders, developers, landlords, and tenants in matters involving multifamily, industrial, commercial, and mixed-use properties. Chris brings a client-focused and business-minded approach to his real estate practice. In addition to holding an M.B.A. in finance, he worked as a management consultant before attending law school.

Prior to joining Venable, Chris was an associate at a multinational law firm, where he drafted and negotiated purchase agreements, operating agreements, easements, development agreements, and loan documents, among other real estate-related documents. He also performed due diligence and conducted complex title, survey, and zoning reviews.
