Jaime Chamberlain develops processes and policies to protect customer privacy. Jaime supports clients in privacy program management, regulatory requirements, privacy operations, and regulatory responses. She responds to incoming regulatory and media inquiries and manages investigative processes to minimize client exposure. Jaime has taken on oversight responsibilities with regard to regulatory requirements and the concomitant client response. She has facilitated a meeting between the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and client leadership, and has project managed the development and implementation of privacy safeguards within a leading technology client’s privacy program.

Jaime supports numerous clients within the child safety, human rights, intelligence, and content moderation spaces. Jaime assisted with a well-received human rights assessment of a major technology company and has been helping to develop a third-party content moderation assessor program for a trade association that represents a majority of internet users in the world. She is a project manager for an intelligence-based litigation effort as part of a major firm client facing a multi-plaintiff COVID-related lawsuit.

Jaime brings experience with cybersecurity assessment, data privacy, and ISO 27001 security practices to the Privacy Group. Prior to joining Venable, she worked for a global telecommunications company based in California, where she spearheaded company-wide security awareness campaigns and sales security training for over 1,000 employees.
