Phillip Dutko

Phil Dutko advises clients on intellectual property matters, with a focus on patent litigation in the life sciences industry. Phil's practice is informed by his work developing patent applications with the Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts Patent Pro Bono Program and by his pre-medical education, which allow him to be an effective advocate at the intersection of science and the law.

Phil's experience in organizational leadership makes him a positive, active team member. During law school, Phil authored multiple journal-length articles on intellectual property in the pharmaceutical space, including an award-winning article elaborating on unique IP litigation trends for biopharmaceutical companies that small-molecule manufacturers typically don't experience.
