Zachary Garrett

Zack Garrett is an accomplished intellectual property litigator with over a dozen years of experience representing clients in complex patent and trade secret disputes. Zack advocates for clients in federal district courts, in federal appeal courts, and before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB). In addition to litigation, Zack advises clients on licensing strategies and intellectual property (IP) due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, helping businesses identify and mitigate IP risks. Before joining Venable in 2018, Zack practiced at the boutique IP firm Fitzpatrick, Cella, Harper & Scinto. He currently serves as co-hiring partner in Venable’s New York office.
