Christina Lara

Christina Lara focuses her practice on regulatory matters in support of our Nonprofit and Political Law practice groups. Christina advises on a broad range of issues, from campaign finance matters, lobbyist registration, and ethics rules to entity formation and dissolution, corporate governance, and contract preparation and review. Her clients include charities, trade associations, business entities, political committees, and other nonprofit organizations.

Christina began her Venable career as a summer associate. While earning her law degree, Christina gained valuable experience as a law clerk for the U.S. Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions; the Office of General Counsel at the Smithsonian Institution; and the Obama Foundation. She also served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Peter J. Messitte of the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland.
