Clayton Laing focuses his practice on a wide range of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, leasing, and development. Prior to joining Venable, Clayton was an associate at a large international law firm in Washington, DC. In this role, he worked with corporate clients ranging from start-ups to Fortune 100 companies, providing them with strategic legal guidance on global mobility and business immigration matters. Clayton graduated as a Business Law Scholar from Georgetown University Law Center and has received his certification as a Capital Markets and Securities Analyst (CMSA) with a specialization in Commercial Real Estate Finance.
