Jeff Meyer’s practice includes the full spectrum of labor and employment law matters. Jeff has substantial litigation experience defending against federal and state wage and hour collective and class actions, as well as audits and investigations before the U.S. Department of Labor and New York State Department of Labor. He regularly represents clients before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and its state and local equivalents, and defends clients in state and federal court against claims filed under Title VII, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and related state/local anti-discrimination laws.
In addition to defending employers against discrimination and retaliation claims, Jeff advises employers in all matters related to the union organizing and collective bargaining processes. He frequently appears before the National Labor Relations Board and has significant arbitration and mediation experience dealing with unions across the full spectrum of industries and disciplines. His practice also includes providing counsel to employers, large and small, as it relates to their daily employment decisions and compliance needs.
