Nicholas Miller

Nick Miller represents clients engaged in complex commercial disputes in both federal and state courts, with a focus on New York. Nick has also assisted several clients in high-stakes arbitrations administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) and Judicial Arbitration and Mediation Services, Inc (JAMS). He provides legal counsel in corporate disputes and litigation matters involving bankruptcy, contracts, intellectual property, white collar investigations and compliance, torts, and estate matters. He has handled matters across a range of domestic and international industries, including media and entertainment, retail, insurance, shipping logistics, software development, telecommunications, publishing, and private equity.

Nick manages litigation at all stages, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and settlement negotiations. He has experience taking depositions and second-chairing direct and cross-examinations of witnesses at trial, as well as in preparing C-suite executive witnesses to testify and working with expert witnesses. Nick drafts responses to discovery requests, engages in motion practice, and researches complex areas of law to support his clients. He has also managed large projects and case teams, recently overseeing a team of more than 20 associates in a series of related financial regulatory and compliance document reviews.
