Caythar Nene focuses his practice on complex matters related to commercial real estate. Caythar helps commercial real estate owners, investors, developers, and landlords maximize the value of their property. His experience includes drafting office and retail leases, lease amendments, subleases, consents to subleases, default notices, termination agreements, rental deferral agreements, and tenant estoppels. Caythar is also adept at negotiating commercial leases and closing documents while ensuring transactions proceed in a timely manner.

Prior to joining Venable, Caythar was a real estate attorney at a Boston-based law firm, where he worked with clients on commercial and high-end residential closings, conducted due diligence for mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and reviewed title and survey diligence. He also frequently worked with the wealth management team to manage real estate assets for high-net-worth clients. Caythar’s real estate practice is further enhanced by his experience working as a property manager throughout college.
