Shelley New is a trusted advisor and privacy program manager with nearly a decade of experience supporting clients through a variety of challenges. Shelley has experience in regulatory readiness, process improvement, business process designs, and project delivery management. Shelley has guided clients through the implementation and refinement of privacy programs in complex global regulatory environments by leading teams in the execution of privacy impact assessments and program risk analysis. As a project manager she facilitated cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders across strategic projects focusing on privacy and compliance initiatives.

Shelley previously worked at Meta Platforms Inc. as a project manager focused on privacy and compliance. Before her role at Meta, Shelley worked as a consultant with KPMG, an international consulting firm, where she focused on project delivery management and with IBM’s Global Business Services, where she created implementation strategies using agile methodologies and enterprise performance life cycle frameworks. Prior to her career in consulting and the private sector, Shelley worked on Capitol Hill for the U.S. Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship as a research analyst.
