Waymon Peer serves clients in complex litigation and business transactions involving a variety of issues including environmental, construction, insurance, and transportation. Waymon counsels clients seeking agency approval for infrastructure projects, guiding them past regulatory and environmental review obstacles. His focus is on projects that raise complex issues, attracting scrutiny from both regulators and third-party groups. His recent representations include rail and surface transportation projects.

Waymon served as a law clerk to Judge Damon J. Keith and Judge Raymond M. Kethledge, both of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, before joining Venable. He also clerked for Chief Judge Brian S. Miller of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas.
