Comments made by Venable attorney Michael Signorelli were covered in an August 23, 2012 Communications Daily article on NTIA’s mulitstakeholder meetings. NTIA has convened meetings to discuss transparency in mobile applications.
At the meeting, Signorelli suggested that stakeholders should first examine existing self-regulatory frameworks before setting new standards for transparency. He said the process could benefit from considering how other industry efforts have addressed the issue of transparency.
