On Monday and Tuesday, March 2nd and 3rd, Venable's Life Sciences Practice Group hosted the Larta Institute's Commercialization Assistance Program for the National Institutes of Health with 35 life sciences and health care companies represented from across the country. The companies attended the invitation-only workshops and received individualized advice and feedback from a group of mentors, including industry representatives, investors, and Venable attorneys. During the sessions, each company presented its business plan and received constructive feedback from participants. Venable attorney participants represented a number of practices, including Corporate, Government Contracts, IP Litigation, Legislative, Patent Prosecution & Counseling and Regulatory.
