Charles Morton, Marlon Amprey, H.C. Jones, III, Meredith Boram, and Kelly Johnson represented Venable on Giving Tuesday during the Helping Up Mission, which aims to help people who are overcoming poverty, homelessness, and addiction. Venable teamed up with Maryland Volunteer Lawyers Service for the clinic, which was free to all Helping Up Mission clients and were recognized in the ABC Channel 2 Baltimore article on November 28, 2017.
"Without the hope of the legal team, the expungement and the various ministries at the Helping Up Mission, I wouldn't have anything to look forward to. I wouldn't have any type of hope and they truly have given me a lot of hope," said Helping Up Mission client Jerome Paylor.
