On July 11, 2023, American Lawyer published its 2023 Pro Bono Scorecard. In this national report Venable was ranked #50, and in terms of average hours and breadth of commitment the firm was ranked #52.
The Scorecard is the definitive ranking of pro bono efforts across Am Law 200 firms. It tracks the total number of pro bono hours performed both domestically and internationally, as well as the average number of hours per lawyer and the number of lawyers who performed more than 20 hours of pro bono service for the year.
