CoreNet New York City has recognized Venable's new Manhattan office design at 151 West 42nd Street as a finalist for its Global Project of the Year award. Every year, CoreNet's New York City chapter recognizes a project that goes above and beyond in terms of the design and program as part of its Corporate Real Estate Awards for Excellence. Projects are judged based on how well they elevate the employee experience and support employee engagement; demonstrate attention to sustainability, health, and well-being; focus on detail, craft, and the aesthetic experience; and impact the company culture and/or larger community in a positive way.
Situated in an iconic building in midtown Manhattan—known as the first green skyscraper in the country—our New York office demonstrates the firm's commitment to New York City, exceptional client service, and the highest environmental standards. CoreNet noted that HLW International LLP (HLW)'s design for Venable's new office "represents a modern, welcoming shift from traditional law firm aesthetics" and prioritizes "innovation, sustainability, and employee well-being."
To celebrate the honor, Matt McLaughlin and Chris Borello attended CoreNet's REmmys Gala on Thursday, September 26, along with leaders from our architectural firm HLW, John Mack and Currie Gardner.
