Venable Honors Nine with the Benjamin R. Civiletti Pro Bono Lawyer of the Year Award

Washington, DC (October 22, 2024) Venable LLP has announced this year’s Benjamin R. Civiletti Pro Bono Lawyer of the Year Awards. The award is being presented to nine individuals for demonstrating an outstanding commitment to pro bono service last year. Each winner will donate $1,000 to a charity of their choice.

The firm also recognized attorneys and firm personnel who provided 100 hours or more and 50 hours or more of pro bono service.

“Venable has a long-standing and deep commitment to pro bono service,” said Warren Hamel, pro bono chair and chair of the firm’s Investigations and White Collar Defense Practice. “Each year, the Civiletti Awards celebrate outstanding firm contributors to pro bono causes and cases and people in need.”
