Jeannine Yoo Sano was profiled in the third quarter edition of the Leadership Journal for 2025, as a part of the publication’s “Where are they now?” series. The Leadership Journal previously highlighted Sano as a “Women Worth Watching” award winner.

When asked about her vocational purpose, Sano shared that her greatest passion is teaching new lawyers about their chosen profession. She wrote, “The biggest motivator that ignites my professional passion is fostering the development of young attorneys in becoming strong advocates and effective trial lawyers.”

Sano also described the importance of mentorship. “Watching associates develop their own styles in the courtroom is one of the most satisfying experiences in litigation,” she noted. “When they win a particular motion, or adeptly present a witness at trial, it makes the experience even better.”

In the profile, Sano also highlighted some of her favorite things, including her favorite charity—Cat House on the Kings—and some words she lives by: “Make progress, not excuses.”
