Consumer finance companies—from traditional banks and loan servicers to emerging fintech companies—are using AI in increasingly sophisticated ways to optimize customer experience, accelerate decision-making, improve fraud detection, and enhance compliance efforts. At the same time, adoption requires navigating an evolving regulatory landscape shaped by federal and state authorities, emerging AI-specific legislation, existing consumer protection laws, and third-party risk considerations. This roundtable will explore common use cases for AI in consumer finance and examine how existing and emerging legal frameworks apply.
