Mitchell Evall

Partner

Mitch Evall is partner-in-charge of the Los Angeles office and a member of the firm’s Real Estate group. He has extensive experience in acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, financing, development and asset management transactions. Mitch’s clients include a number of the major motion picture studios, theatre chains, investment banks, real property developers and retailers. Mitch has been involved in a number of high-profile corporate relocations, as well as the start-up and winding down of numerous national businesses. Additionally, Mitch has consulted on sizable projects in New York and throughout the southwestern and western United States.

Prior to joining Venable, Mitch was the managing partner of a "boutique" law firm in Beverly Hills. In 2008, Mitch was named one of Lawdragon’s "100 Managing Partners You Need to Know."

Mitch is also the immediate past Chairman, and a twenty-five-plus year member, of the Board of Directors of United Friends of the Children, a charitable organization devoted to improving the lives of foster children in Los Angeles County, both while they are in the foster care system and as they “age out” of that system.

Mitch received his B.A. from Brandeis University, magna cum laude with honors in 1977, and received his J.D. from Columbia University in 1980.

    southwestern United States.
