Joe regularly advises both borrowers and lenders, including banks, financial institutions, direct lenders, institutional investors, private credit funds, alternative lenders, finance companies, private equity funds, sponsors, portfolio companies, and other companies, on a wide range of financing transactions, including leveraged buyouts; acquisition financing; bridge, subordinated, and mezzanine financings; receivables financings; split lien facilities; workouts; and restructurings. He also works with clients to negotiate and structure project finance, structured finance, capital markets, and hybrid securitization transactions. His practice emphasizes cross-border deals and intricate collateral and intercreditor structures.

Joe regularly represents both lenders and borrowers in a wide range of financing transactions, including acquisition financings, asset-based facilities, recapitalizations, multiple lien structures and subordinated financings, capital call facilities, private placements, other structured finance and capital markets transactions, and debtor-in-possession and exit financings. He also actively represents companies in various debt and equity financings. 

In addition to advising clients on financings, Joe also represents such clients in restructuring matters, whether as a debtor or creditor, including distressed acquisitions, intercreditor issues and disputes, UCC Article 9 sales, other foreclosure proceedings, syndicated loan workouts, and other out-of-court debt or equity restructuring transactions.
