Prior to joining Venable, Adolfo represented developers in all areas of transactional real estate, including the acquisition, disposition, financing, and development of high-quality affordable housing and multifamily developments. Adolfo represented a range of clients, including nonprofit organizations, real estate investment trusts (REITs), and institutional lenders. He regularly counseled clients in complex financing matters involving low-income tax credits, tax-exempt bonds, and government loan programs. He also negotiated and drafted purchase and sale agreements, loan agreements, mortgages, subordination agreements, and a variety of other contracts and agreements. He represented previous clients in some of the largest affordable housing portfolio purchases and sales nationwide.
While in law school, Adolfo drafted case briefs and analyzed litigation strategy as a clerk for the Office of the Chief Counsel for Trade Enforcement and Compliance at the U.S. Department of Commerce.
