A skilled transactional lawyer, Josh has drafted and negotiated countless data and software license agreements, IT service provider engagements, consulting agreements, and other contracts that touch on privacy, data security, and technology. He helps clients proactively identify and address data security risks and advises them on responding to security incidents and data breaches.
Josh advises clients on matters arising under a range of U.S. and international legal regimes, including the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (CCPA), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA ), the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and federal and state laws that prohibit unfair or deceptive business practices. He also advises on various state and local privacy, cybersecurity, and data breach notification laws.
