Patrick Dunbar

Pat Dunbar focuses his practice on complex matters related to corporate law. Prior to studying law, Pat served as a ground intelligence officer in the U.S. Marine Corps. The unique experience of serving in the Marines allowed Pat to hone his problem-solving, communication, and organizational planning skills, all of which are critical in both his practice and service to Venable clients.

In law school, Pat participated in a business law clinic, where he gained valuable experience researching and writing memoranda on tax and entity formation, while also effectively working with clients to solve their business law issues. Pat also spent time as a summer associate at Venable, where he was given the opportunity to help draft transactional documents, review contracts, and work alongside both associates and partners.
