Matt maintains an active pro bono practice, focusing largely on the representation of children and victims of violent crimes. He has partnered with numerous organizations, including Kids in Need of Defense (KIND), Legal Services for New York City, and Sanctuary for Families.
Before joining Venable, Matt was an assistant district attorney in the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office and, more recently, was in private practice at a major law firm.
