Benjamin Argyle concentrates his practice on efficient and effective dispute management. As an accomplished commercial litigator, Benjamin regularly appears in state and federal courts in class action, corporate governance, antitrust, real estate, and commercial disputes, with notable experience in insurance coverage disputes. Benjamin also leads Venable's Portfolio Insurance and Risk Management review (PIRM) team. The PIRM team counsels private equity and family office clients in understanding and administering their liability, insurance, reporting, and other risk management practices.
In addition, Benjamin has written extensively on New York's Freedom of Information Law (FOIL). Benjamin's recommendations for amending the FOIL statute have been introduced as bills in the New York State Assembly and Senate.
