Venable associate Carmen Fonda has been appointed as the chair of the Maryland State Bar Association Section of Business Law’s Committee on Unincorporated Business Associations.
The Committee's primary purpose is to monitor developments in laws and cases (primarily in Maryland but also in other states) concerning limited liability companies, partnerships, and other unincorporated business associations, and distribute this information to Committee members. Where appropriate, the Committee will draft, propose and support revisions to Maryland statutes concerning unincorporated business associations.
