Venable represented Ambient Healthcare in the acquisition of all of its capital stock by AxelaCare Health Solutions on January 2, 2015. Terms of the sale were not made public.
Ambient Healthcare is based in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and provides home infusion, specialty pharmacy and nursing services on a 24/7 basis in the southeastern United States. AxelaCare Health Solutions is based in Lenexa, Kansas and is a provider of specialized immune globulin (IgG) therapy and other intravenous home infusion therapies. It is a portfolio company of Harvest Partners, L.P., a New York-based private equity firm that focuses on middle market companies in North America. The transaction was a strategic acquisition for Axelacare by enabling it to expand its footprint in the national home infusion sector.
