Venable LLP is pleased to announce that Dominick A. Conde, a co-chair of the firm’s Intellectual Property Division, has been named Hatch-Waxman Litigator of the Year – Branded at the 2026 Life Sciences Awards.
Dom has built a nationally recognized practice representing life sciences companies in patent litigation, including Hatch-Waxman matters. The award highlights Dom’s extensive work representing branded pharmaceutical companies in complex, high-stakes Hatch-Waxman patent litigation involving commercially significant products. A seasoned lead trial lawyer, Dom regularly handles large-scale pharmaceutical patent disputes and advises clients on litigation strategy in the United States and internationally.
While Dom is receiving this award, a large amount of credit for the recognition goes to those on his teams that work incredibly hard, and provide extremely high-level, insightful legal advice on complicated patent litigation matters. Those lawyers include Erin Austin, Damien Dombrowski, Whitney Meier Howard, Alex McJoynt, Bill Solander, Chris Borello, Joshua Calabro, Ha Kung Wong, Greg Manas, and others.
The Life Sciences Awards recognize leading lawyers, law firms, and legal work across the life sciences sector.
