Please join Venable LLP for a complimentary, CLE-credit webinar on the history and future of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB).
The CFPB turns three on July 21, 2014. Created under Dodd-Frank, the CFPB has already made a lasting impact on the consumer protection legal landscape and in how consumer financial services providers do business. Members of Venable’s CFPB Task Force will examine both the Bureau’s history and its future, and the program will include case studies and trivia. The panel will discuss the formation of the CFPB; the use of its supervision, enforcement, and rulemaking authorities since it began operations in 2011; and what’s on the horizon.
CLE credit is available for this program.
