Rebecca Horton helps clients protect their intellectual property (IP) and brands. Rebecca is a skilled litigator who advises clients across a broad range of industries—including technology, financial services, and consumer goods and retail—on the protection and enforcement of their IP rights. By blending legal acumen with business-minded strategy, Rebecca guides clients through every phase of a dispute, from pre-litigation counseling and communications through trial. Having successfully litigated more than 20 trials and represented countless clients in federal and state courts, clients look to Rebecca to handle their high-stakes litigation involving trademarks, copyrights, patents, and trade secrets.

  • Secured summary judgment and Daubert victories in trade secret and copyright litigation for a major electronic design automation company
  • Secured dismissal with prejudice of a trademark litigation on behalf of a rideshare company
  • Obtained a favorable settlement in a trademark litigation on behalf of a financial services provider
  • Advised an insurance company with regard to a threatened patent dispute, successfully negotiating settlement before any complaint was filed
  • Represented a craft brewery in trademark litigation brought against a multinational brewing company, including preliminary injunction briefing
  • Served as trial counsel for a financial institution in breach of contract litigation, resolving the case through strategic mediation positioning
