Jay Prapaisilp advises clients regarding advertising matters in both the regulatory and litigation contexts. Jay has experience reviewing client marketing and advertisements for regulatory compliance, guiding companies through Federal Trade Commission (FTC) investigations, and dealing with suits brought under the FTC Act, Lanham Act, and Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). Prior to joining Venable, Jay interned at the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), Civil Rights Division. Before law school, Jay worked as a paralegal at a Washington, DC law firm, where he supported attorneys in a variety of practices.
