New York, NY (June 12, 2018) – Venable LLP is pleased to announce that Eric A. Prager has joined the firm's Intellectual Property Transactions Practice as a partner in the New York office. Mr. Prager focuses on the advertising, digital media, and software industries, with a wide range of experience that includes strategic counseling, development and management of IP portfolios, due diligence of IP assets, and sophisticated licensing and agreement work.
He has litigated copyright, false advertising, patent, trademark, and trade secret cases in courts around the country for more than 20 years. Mr. Prager's clients include technology innovators, consumer-facing brands, trade associations, and content creators and distributors. He has spent most of his career in New York, with a three-year stint in Seattle to help open an office there for his first law firm.

Mr. Prager earned a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law in 1993 and an A.B. from Columbia College in 1990. He has served as an adjunct professor of law at Fordham for more than 10 years.
