Two Venable Deals Earn Honorable Mention for 2026 Mid-Market M&A Deal of the Year

Venable LLP is pleased to announce that two of the firm’s transactions have received Honorable Mention recognition in Mergers & Acquisitions’ Mid-Market Deals of the Year Awards for 2026.

Venable was recognized for its role in assisting TBC Corporation—a 50-50 joint venture between Michelin and Sumitomo Corporation—in a divestiture of the Midas system, which includes more than 2,000 auto repair service centers. The Venable team was led by New York corporate partner Bradley Edmister and Washington, DC corporate counsel Audrey Distler.

Venable was also recognized for representing JTB Corp., one of Japan’s leading travel solution providers, in its acquisition of NTM Acquisition Corp. (doing business as Northstar Travel Group) and all of its wholly owned subsidiaries. Northstar is a premier B2B content and marketing solutions provider trusted by leading global travel brands. The company specializes in connecting travel professionals with top-tier suppliers and marketers, including major airlines, hotel groups, and cruise lines.
