Chambers recognizes 64 attorneys in 27 categories
WASHINGTON, DC (June 7, 2012) – Chambers USA released its annual rankings of attorneys in the United States today with a record 64 Venable attorneys recognized in 27 national and regional categories. This is Chambers USA’s tenth annual survey covering America’s leading lawyers identified as the best in their fields by their peers and clients
This year, of the firm’s 27 practice group rankings, Venable scored nine in Tier One nationally or regionally. Of the 64 individuals ranked, more than half ranked in the top two tiers.
“Hard work and quality client service have always been central at Venable,” said firm Chairman James Shea. “The rankings are a significant step forward for Venable as we continue to grow. We want to thank our clients for their continued support of the firm and our attorneys.”
Chambers and Partners notes that it conducts intensive, continuous research to identify the world’s leading lawyers and law firms – those who perform best according to the criteria most valued by clients. The process, which extends over several months, includes written submissions, personal interviews, client feedback and peer assessment.
