Chambers USA has released its full 2013 rankings. Venable continues to have a strong presence in the rankings with a record 76 attorneys achieving 81 placements in the upcoming edition. The firm also had 29 practices ranked at the state and national level.
This year, Venable added 17 new attorneys to the rankings for the first time, 9 of whom were ranked nationally. Two practice groups were also ranked for the first time in DC Intellectual Property: Litigation and Nationwide Product Liability & Mass Torts. Four attorneys and two practice groups improved their rankings from last year including DC Intellectual Property: Patent Prosecution which moved into Band 1. Overall, Venable saw 14 attorneys achieve Band 1 rankings in 15 categories and 8 practice groups ranked in Band 1 at the state and national level.
